Xtreme Team Stables is family owned and operated. Our staff is experienced and professional, treating our client with the upmost respect. Our ponies and horses are extremely sociable, friendly, have great temperament and it shows. They love interacting with people. What is the process for hiring the Xtreme Team to attend my party or event?


1. Check the Availability Calendar for date & time.


2. Scroll down the Booking Request Page, complete
    Booking Request Form or complete the
PDF
        Booking Request Form and fax to 704-986-4005.

3. Pay the $50.00 deposit: (Two payment options)
    -1st Option:  Click on
Sale Barn, in the Change 
                       Category drop down menu, select 
                       Booking Request Deposit, Click View 
                       Details and proceed to checkout or 
                       continue shopping. keep your 
                       confirmation receipt.
   -2nd Option: Call 704-269-8900 x 520 to make a 
                       deposit by phone.

4. Xtreme Team will call or email to review and 
and confirm Booking Request Form, date & time availability.

5. Fax the completed & signed forms to 704-986-4005
 Liability, Agreement & Participant Liability Forms.

6. Pay half (50%) of the balance.

7. Pay the remaining balance before your scheduled
party or event date.

In order to remain in compliance: Steps 2-7 must be completed before Xtreme Team will be able to attend your party or event.

What happens if the weather is not cooperating?

We can usually use an undercover area, garage, carport or set-up a gazebo. If hazardous weather, we reserve the right to maintain safety of humans and our ponies or horses. In this situation, we would postpone, rearrange or reschedule our arrival if necessary and availability permits.

What is the North Carolina Equine Activity Liability Law?



WARNING

Under North Carolina law, an equine activity sponsor or equine professional is not liable for an injury or to the death of a participant in equine activities resulting exclusively from the inherent risks of equine activities. Chapter 99e of the North Carolina General Statues.

Do you provide safety gear?

Yes. We provide regulated helmets that meet ASTM/SEI Equestrian Safety Standards.

Are the ponies and horses handled?
Yes.
Our ponies and horses are not hitched to a carousel or swing. The handlers walk next to the pony, horse and child as a safety measure.

An added bonus is the educational advantage. Children are able to ask questions when the handlers are near them.

We offer on site digital photo's and DVD service if time permits and staff is available.

Where do you recommend having a party?

A backyard or driveway is a good place. Preferably areas that are grassy, level and flat. The park is always a great place to have a party.

Are you able to accommodate my school, church or community with a pony or horse for our special event?

Sure.
For larger events, and depending on the type of population (small, medium or large children and adults) we recommend two ponies or two horses. Our team must have intermittent breaks. We believe in safety and quality. Ponies and horses need sufficient time to rest.

Are your ponies and horses healthy?

Yes.
Our ponies and horses are well taken care of. They are up-to-date with all vaccines using a local veterinarian.

Do you clean up after the ponies and horses?

We are responsible for removal of all feces from our pony or horse.

Can we feed the pony or horse?

Guest are allowed to feed the pony or horse a piece of apple or carrot provided by the Xtreme Team, only when notified of appropriate feeding time.

How many ponies or horses will I need for my event?

The number depends upon how many guest you invite. In general, one pony or horse will accommodate approximately 15 guests in one hour. Our goal is for each child to ride a minimum of 2 times.

Why do you recommend two horses or ponies?

We highly recommend the "Team System".Two ponies or horses are invited to your event and participants are able to ride side by side.

Are your ponies and horses safe?

Yes.
Our ponies and horses are safe by our standards. As with any of the most enjoyable sports or activities in life, it is impossible to eliminate all risk. We will educate all participants about safety and rules to help reduce the possibility of injury. Please review our
Party Rules before our arrival.

What happens if the pony or horse is mistreated?

Any mistreatment of the pony or horse will result in immediate termination of participation and all money will be forfeited. "Love should always be in your hand".

What are your prices?

Prices vary depending upon the number of ponies or horses invited, party packages, party favors, photos, length of stay and location. How do you clean your helmets?

Helmets are cleaned after each use. Helmets are cleaned according to the manufacturer's cleaning instructions and recommendations.

What is the company's rain or inclement weather policy?

Weather is verified the night before and morning of the scheduled event.

Xtreme Team reserves the right to maintain safety at all times. We will not perform outdoors in Bad Weather or non-cooperating weather: heavy rain, lightning, hail, sleet, tornado, hurricane and forceful or dangerous winds.

BAD WEATHER POLICY: If it is raining on the day of your event, you will need to contact us 2 hours prior to the start of your event.

If it is raining or there is a forecast for rain and you tell us to come and THEN cancel after we have arrived at your event, the deposit is non refundable and the balance of your party is due in full.

If weather is not cooperating, Xtreme Team is not in route, and rescheduling is permitted in advance; deposit may be applied to new date and time depending upon availability.

What are your cancellation stipulations?

If Xtreme Team arrives at your event and then you cancel, it is at the discretion of the Xtreme Team to charge a $100 late cancellation fee or the remaining balance of the Event.

Do you charge a mileage fee?

Depending upon location, we may charge a mileage fee. If the destination is more than 35 miles from our stables, please call to confirm if a mileage fee is applicable.

What type of parking and setup arrangement is needed?

We must have adequate parking close to the party location for our Truck and Trailer to park and unload safely. We cannot unload on a busy highway, parking lot, hill or road which receives large amounts of street traffic.

Do I really need to pay a deposit?

Our ponies and horses are very popular and book fast. In order to maintain a successful business, we are no longer able to hold dates and times without a deposit. We will not attend your Event/party without receiving your deposit and Event Agreement. A deposit will guarantee a reserved date and time.

If the deposit is not recieved as specified in the Booking Form, we will release your date and time to the next customer.

Deposits become non-refundable after Xtreme Team receives a signed agreement form or client receives an email confirming the requested date and time is available and booked as requested.

If inclemet weather, at the discretion of the Xtreme Team, a deposit may be applied to a reschedule date based on Xtreme Team availability.

Can my child paticipate if a physical or mental disability exist?

Interaction with a pony or horse is very therapeutic and provides spiritual, physical, mental and emotional benefits. Time spent in the saddle is never wasted.

Research has proven that a horse or pony's rhythmic, repetitive movement’s work to improve balance, muscle tone, posture, coordination and flexibility.

Please seek medical clearance, guidance or advice from your family physician or physical therapist.
